1. IsiZulu is a Nguni langauge spoken in South Africa.  
   A knowledge of isiZulu will help you gain a better understanding of other Nguni langauges.
   Some of these languages include: isiXhosa, isiNdebele, and siSwati.

2. IsiZulu has cultural, geographical and historical influences.
    The best way to learn isiZulu is to understand how these different influences have shaped the
    language.
    Listen to music.
    Read stories.
    Watch TV shows.
    Visit places and events where isiZulu speakers express themselves.

3. Words, phrases and sentences are made up of parts that are joined together.
    It is possible to say an entire sentence in just one word.
    Ngiyaphila (I am well)
    Ngisafunda (I am still learning)
